About The Garfield Post

The Garfield Post is Garfield Heights' milestones board: the birthday, anniversary and "in loving memory" corner a local paper used to have, rebuilt for phones and sharing.

What it is not

It is not news. Nothing here is reported: every post is written by the person who posts it, about their own family or friends. There are no articles, events, obituaries, notices, politics or business listings.

Who runs it

The Garfield Post is run by WeldonPC (Weldon Hastings), 5829 Turney Rd, Garfield Heights, OH 44125. Write to weldon@weldonpc.com.

Independent

The Garfield Post is an independent site run by WeldonPC. It is not run by, endorsed by or connected with the City of Garfield Heights, any school or any newspaper.

How it pays for itself

Paid posts, Spotlights and clearly labelled sponsor panels. Most pages also show one banner ad, labelled "Advertisement", from AdEngine (adengine.us), WeldonPC's own small ad network; for now it advertises WeldonPC's own services and sets no cookies (what it receives). There are no trackers and no data sales.
