How it works
The Garfield Post is where Garfield Heights families post the good news about their own people. It takes about two minutes.
1. Write it
Choose the milestone: a birthday, anniversary, new baby, engagement, wedding, graduation, retirement, military homecoming, achievement, a free kudos note, or a remembrance. Add the name, a message and pick the card art.
- Names show as first name and last initial ("Maria K."). You can show an adult's full last name. Anyone under 18 is always first name and last initial.
- No addresses, phone numbers, emails, birth dates or plans ("at 7 pm on Saturday"). The form sends them back to fix.
- No photos: every card uses the Post's own artwork.
2. Post it
Preview it, then pay once with PayPal: $9 for a milestone, $15 for a remembrance. Kudos notes are free: you confirm them from an email instead. Most posts go up straight away; remembrances appear 24 hours after payment.
3. Share it and print it
Every post has its own page, a share image sized for Facebook and other sites, and a printable 5×7 card. Paid posts stay up for 12 months; kudos notes for 30 days.
You stay in charge
We email you a private link to your post. From there you can edit it for 14 days, add a 7-day Spotlight, or take it down.
So do the people in it
Every post has a "This is about me: remove it" link that takes it down at once. Reports from two different people take a post down for review (one report for a remembrance).
